When you date a black woman, you watch her spend hours on her hair. Arms in the air working on parts, curls and protective styles. So I created the HAIR SERIES, a celebration of the beauty, work, and pain that goes into the hair that I appreciate from the afar.

Blue represents sensitivity, intelligence, loyalty, intuition, imagination, & inspiration. This piece is one of the first pieces I created when creating my trademark BLK KID style. It's right before wash day. She'll have a lot of work to do then so today she just throws it in a wrap and calls it a day.
